Clean Time Services respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.

It applies to this website, to our online quoting and booking tools, and to the cleaning, gardening and property care services we provide. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1.Who we are

We provide residential and commercial cleaning, along with gardening and outdoor property care, across Adelaide, Greater Adelaide and major regional centres in South Australia.

2.The information we collect

We collect the information we need to quote, schedule, deliver and invoice your service.

3.How we collect it

  • Directly from you, when you request a quote, make a booking, call, send an SMS, email us or complete a form on our website.
  • Automatically, through our website and our online quoting and booking tools.
  • From someone acting for you, such as a property manager, a family member, a support coordinator or a plan manager who books on your behalf.

4.Why we use it

  • To prepare and send your quote.
  • To confirm and schedule your booking.
  • To allocate a cleaner and give them the access details they need to attend your property.
  • To deliver your service and keep a record of the work completed.
  • To issue invoices and process payments.
  • To respond to your questions and feedback, and to resolve anything that needs putting right.
  • To keep records for accounting, tax and insurance purposes.
  • To send you service reminders and updates about your booking.
  • To send you marketing where you have chosen to receive it.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

5.Photos of your clean

Before and after photos may be taken at your cleaner's discretion, for proof and transparency in the event a clean is disputed. These photos are kept on your service record and used for that purpose.

Your preference matters

Let us know if you would prefer photos kept to a minimum at your property and we will add a note to your file.

6.Who we share it with

We share your information only with those who need it to deliver your service or to meet our obligations:

  • Our subcontract cleaners, limited to what they need to attend your property and complete your clean.
  • Our booking and customer relationship software provider.
  • Our email and SMS delivery providers.
  • Our payment processor, our accounting software provider and our bookkeeper.
  • Our insurer, where a claim relates to your property.
  • A debt collection agency, where an account remains outstanding after 28 days, as set out in our Client Service Agreement.
  • A funding body, plan manager or support coordinator, where your service is funded through NDIS, DVA or a similar program and your details are needed for approval and payment.
  • Government agencies, regulators or others, where the law requires or permits it.

Everyone who handles your information on our behalf is asked to keep it confidential and to use it only for the purpose we have given it to them.

We sell no personal information to anyone.

7.Storing and protecting your information

Your information is held in secure, password protected systems, and access is limited to the people who need it to do their job. Any paper records are kept securely.

We keep your information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and for the periods required by tax, accounting and insurance law, which is generally seven years. After that it is securely destroyed or de-identified.

8.Overseas storage

Some of the software we use stores information on servers outside Australia. Where that is the case, we choose providers who apply protections comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.

9.Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses cookies to remember your preferences and to help us understand how visitors use the site, so we can keep improving it.

You can set your browser to alert you when cookies are in use, or to decline them. The site works best with cookies turned on.

10.Marketing and your preferences

We send service reminders and occasional updates by email and SMS. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to an SMS or email us at any time to change your preferences.

Messages about a booking you have already made will continue, so you always know when we are coming.

11.Accessing and correcting your information

You are welcome to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct anything that is out of date or inaccurate.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. In the rare case where we are unable to give access, we will explain the reason in writing.
